THE VISAV SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION SERVICEWe have developed and invested in the Search Engine Optimisation product we provide. We can now offer our accumulative ten years of web placement experience combined with the VISAV web structure and some of the best professional web marketing tools available. The resulting web placement serviceis proving to be fantastically effective in improving search engine rankingfor a select number of delighted clients.The Search Engine Optimisation Service incorporates eight main steps:1) Initial consultation to produce 50 to 80 potential key words that suit the site.2) Key word and phrase analysis, use our search engine database license to check, how often each potential key word is searched for and how many sites are competing for placement against each search word. 3) Agree a final key word list of the 20 most “efficient” key words, within the target search engines to focus upon. 4) Modify web site to suit your target audience and optimize the web site using an arsenal of proven techniques. 5) Increase your sites Pagerank by providing relevant links TO it from a large array of high ranking sites 6) Submit your web site to the main search engines in its new format and to an additional 40+ minor search engines worldwide. 7) Provide weekly “independent” search engine positioning reports detailing the websites position within the eight main UK search engines when searched for, with each of the agreed key words. 8) A weekly schedule of Monitoring, Customer liaison, Site modification and Reporting is undertaken. The cost This service is £350+vat a month, a minimum six month period is required. This cost includes the great deal of initial analysis, consultation and site modification as well as the use of the licensed products we use to provide reporting and key word.services. MORE DETAIL REGARDING THE PROCESS Key word and phrase analysis We have access to a massive database of 360+ million words that have been searched for within Google and Yahoo over the last 60 days. We compare the proposed list of keywords against this list in order to find words with a high Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI). The higher the KEI, the more popular your keywords are and the less competition they have. This means use of these particular words will give you a better chance of raising your website ranking within the main search engines (Google.co.uk, Alta Vista, Lycos, AOL, MSN, Tiscali and Yahoo) A lot of time will have to be spent comparing the initial range of potential key words with Google.com. Google gets approximately 35% of all search engine traffic, around 112 million searches a day and is a great benchmark. We perform an analysis on your preferred list of keywords as well as a range of other related words that have produced higher or equivalent KEI results. We try to find a balance between exactly the right type of phrase that is regularly search for but that only has a few hundred competing sites. This means that we stand a good chance of targeting these phrases effectively for you. During the consultation, you need to decide if visitors that have searched for the more obscure phrases would be looking for what your site provides, if not, we will remove them from the list. Modify the site Sounds easy but this is the skilful side to the whole process, we use the final, signed-off list as a guide and re-build the index page of your site to emulate exactly what the search engines want to see when a search for one of your key words or phrases is performed. We do not try and trick any search engine; we simply present your site and products in the best possible way to encourage relevant, interested visitors to your website. This is a labour intensive process and involves many hours of tweaking and manipulating over a number of weeks. We constantly monitor the effects that the modifications have on your sites position in the seven main search engines for every one of your key words. Increase your sites PageRank Perhaps one of the least understood and most effective methods of promoting your site, the main search engines use a clever formula to calculate the importance of your web site by how many other websites link to it.
